An antique early 1900's victorian Halloween postcard in very good condition. There is very mild edge and corner wear, and two small extremely light creases to the left hand side of the card. It is embossed, has all of the glitter still intact, is nice and colorful, and has a lady with a candle looking into the mirror to see her future lover with two green owls on the bottom as well. On the bottom it says Halloween Don'ts, "don't be afraid, for on halloween if you take a lighted candle and a mirror clean, at the stroke of twelve, look in and there's seen the face of your lover that I ween". It is unpostmarked but is written on in pencil on the back, and is copyrighted by M.L. Jackson. Add this hard to find card to your collection!
